about
Take to the open seas and set sail with the winds at your back as Brady Clampitt takes you on an island cruise that you’ll never forget with his latest release Daydreamin'. The captain and crew blend jazz, pop, and blues influences into sweet strawberry daiquiris and serve up the most decedent shrimp cocktails this side of the galaxy. This adventure was co-produced by Brady Clampitt (Melody Trucks Band) and John Lumpkin II (Jamison Ross, John Lumpkin and The Covenant) and features the Atlanta, Georgia based Terminus Horns (The Floozies, String Cheese Incident).
To get music from the most mysterious of origins to your ears takes a lot of formidable determination. A single note reverberates through many different perspectives, singular and of plurality, before it becomes a part of your favorite song.
lyrics
Daydreaming by S. Clampitt
Summer in Copa Springtime in costa
Let's travel Europa Take in horizon views
Solo nosotros dos yea just us two
Basking in the sun with some coconut rum
Lazy by the bay with my honey bun bun like ooh
And I
I’m mesmerized
I'm having deja vu
I'm on an island cruise
Out across the ocean
Girl when I’m with you
I’m daydreaming in slow-motion
I don’t take it lightly that you're kinda irie
You listen to slightly and you got an eye for me ooh
And I
I’m not gonna lie
Yea I kinda think that's cool
Tanned by the sun rays, salted by sea waves
Elle es muy bonita, look how she radiates ooh
And I
I get hypnotized
I keep having deja vu
I'm on an island cruise
Out across the ocean
Girl when I’m with you
I’m daydreaming in slow-motion
Yea I need a second to breath
Need my eyes to see
Is this a dream
Or my reality
Yea the way she's staring at me
So intentionally
I lose all control
And just go with the flow
Yea I'm on an island cruise
Out across the ocean
When Im with you
I'm daydreaming in slow-motion
I'm daydreaming in slow-motion
